Consider this your favorite (online) used bookstore. I built our classical library on a budget and I understand the love and effort that goes into building a literary inheritance for your family (and the generations to come). After years of book buying, I realized I over-achieved, collecting too many copies of certain books, and—like all good bibliophiles—started playing around with the idea of a someday brick-and-mortar bookery called Rascal. There will be piles of books everywhere, ladders running the length of the shelves, that perfect old-book-dust smell, and a little bit of twinkling eye mischief. But it’s not quite time for that.

For now, I search for living books for the whole family and sell them here. Being a home librarian is no small honor. To be the finder and keeper of truth, goodness, and beauty in the home takes prudence and a little bit of twinkling eye mischief.

And that’s what makes us rascals.
